He's Baaaaackkkkk!! (Chucky re-post)

Hi All, In the spirit of Halloween and the creepy doll post I had this week - let's continue down that road with a re-post of Chucky.  Just seems appropriate for October 31st, don't you think?  This was originally posted 9/25/13.  Have a great Halloween and beware inanimate objects!!

Ok, so that is Jack Nicholson’s line in the Shining – but it’s still true – He is Baacckkk…..
Not Jack, but Chucky.

Can you see him?  Yeah, that’s Chucky from Childs Play peeking at me in my car.  I don’t know, but if it were my SUV, I’d have a different riding companion.

So I’m driving down the infamous Eight Mile yesterday (as I do every day of my life) and the car next to me is honking.  Living in the city, one just ignores the honking and goes right along with life – you never know what you might see if you look and trust me, you learn this the hard way.  So after a while, you just ignore the crazy honking people.

Well, crazy honker got closer (judging by the side of the car, they have been too close before – a scrape here a ding there…)

I give a super quick glance.  Huh?

Well that explains my day, flippin Chucky is staring me down.

Really? Chucky? C’mon, Chucky?  In the car next to me?  On Eight Mile? Really??

Yup, there he is, picture proof folks, I can’t make this stuff up.  And again, proof why you shouldn't look at the crazy person (i.e. doll) next to you honking their horn wildly.

You all sleep tight tonight, ok?  Just keep an extra eye out for the black Chevy SUV driving down your street…..

Let Me Out Of Here!!

Leaving a local Coney Island after having breakfast I spot something that strikes me a bit odd across the street.

Husband, do you see something in that garage window up top?  Something seems a bit off…  Pull down the alley and let’s have a look.

We pull down the alley and slow down.  Now fortunately I have my camera with super zoom in my purse, you know – so we don’t have to get too close.

And yes, something is a bit odd in the garage across the alley – I’d say it’s the owner’s sense of humor, that’s what is a bit off…

Look closely – not only is there a life sized doll in the window with her arms up waiving for help, right next to her skirt in the lower corner is another blonde headed doll, craning out the window to catch a look at the outside world that eludes them – since, you know, they are trapped in the attic and all.

Hey isn’t there a book, turned movie about them called "Flowers in the Attic"?  Yeah – warped, I think the homeowner might be a little warped – either that or his family is trapped in the attic – which in that case, yeah, then they would be a lot warped…

Doesn’t it look like the dolls have kicked the walls so hard the siding is coming loose?

Hmmm, dolls, that’s what I keep telling myself they are – just two life sized blonde dolls…. Spooky!

Post Delay New Computer on Fritz AGAIN

Hi all, I'm on a borrowed computer again - my two month old computer has died again.  I assume I'll be up and running shortly just a soon as I have three hours to sit on the phone with Dell - yes, I said Dell.  Should have stuck with HP.  Hope to back by Weds.

Mannie Nanny

Whew, there you are.  This store is so big I was getting a bit scared.

Every time I turned around my face was in a rack of clothes, it was so dark, I couldn’t see past anything – racks of shirts, jeans, sweaters, coats – everywhere – right in may face.

Your hand seems a bit cold, but that’s alright – I’ll hold it and warm it up for you.  Just don’t let go okay, this place is scary.

There are people everywhere and I don’t know any of them.  They are all in a hurry hauling bags, or shopping right above me at the racks hitting my in the face with their purses.  I’m not having any fun.

Let’s not come here again.  Can we go, now that I’ve found you?  Please, I’m ready to get out of here – it’s like things aren’t real.

So I must admit – I found this picture on the internet and I have no idea where it came from.  I saved it because it was too cute and I thought for sure I would remember where I copied it from and give them credit – but I don’t.  So thanks – this is a great shot!

I am also guessing this pictures was taken by his mom – who must have been tickled with her sons cuteness!
